Is it ok to train your abs and do cardio everyday?

I usually do an hour of cardio on an elliptical trainer and study, then I do between an hour to two hours of weights depending on the body part. On Sunday I do two hours of chest, Monday two hours of back, Tuesday two hours of legs, Wednesday maybe an hour and a half of arms (triceps and biceps in alteration), Thursday I do maybe an hour and a half of shoulders, and then on Friday and Saturday I rest, but maybe an hour of cardio on those days. When I'm done with the weights I have been trying to do an hour of abs everyday. Should I do abs and cardio everyday, or should I maybe cut it back and alternate days? I do like doing the cardio everyday though, because its a good chance to study for class and I feel great afterwards. Any suggestions to modify my routine are welcome. I guess my overall goal is more strength than aesthethics, because I noticed when I was more cut I was weaker than when I was more bulky but was able to lift more. However, I know a strong core is key to overall strength of the body despite if you have a six pack or not.
